Day 1: Arrival in Kochi (Cochin)
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel, overnight at hotel

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (140 Kms)
Morning drive to Munnar, Walk in the city, commercial center of tea plantations among the highest of the world. By walk, we explore the tea plantations. Overnight at the hotel (B,L,D)

Day 3: Munnar : Eravikulam National park and plantations
Morning explore the Eravikulam National park, Afternoon visit the tea and coffee plantations. Overnight at the hotel (B,L,D)

Day 4: Munnar - Periyar (102 Kms)
Morning by vehicle, you will get to the mountainous area of the western Ghats to the National park of Periyar. The program includes: a half day walk in the jungle and the close villages and the discovery of the national park by boat on the lake of Periyar. Overnight at hotel (B,L,D)

Day 5: Periyar national park
Full day exploring the national park of Periyar and its surroundings, Overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Periyar - Kumakarom (140Kms)
Morning drive to the ornithological reserve of Kumakarom. Later by bicycle, discovery of the Palai plain. Stroll with traditional boat on the canals edged by palm trees. Overnight at the hotel (B,L,D)

Day 7: Kumakarom - Alleppey: "House boat" on the "Backwaters"
Short stage to Alleppey. Later board of a traditional "house - boat", welcome by the crew, and we sail on the canals, lagoons and lakes. Overnight on board (double room). Deluxe Houseboat (B,L,D)

Day 8: "Backwaters" – Allepey – Kochi
Morning disembark at the end of the morning. Drive to Fort Kochi, Afternoon visit of Cochin: St. Francis church, Synagogue, the chinese fishing nets and the Dutch Palace. Demonstration of Kathakali dance in the evening. Farewell Overnight at the hotel (B,L,D)

Day 9: Departure Kochi
Assistance and transfer to airport for flight to onward destination

Airport taxes & airfares to/from/within India
Personal expenses such as bottled or alcoholic beverages, telephone calls or personal equipment like sleeping bags etc…

Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail and airplane delays, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions, political disturbances, taxes etc… Any mandatory supplement by hotels on room or meals from 20th Dec' 2012 to 10th Jan' 2013 of the mentioned year.

In the event of any of the above-mentioned hotels not becoming available we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
